The year 2024 is being especially intense, especially now that the merger between Orange and MásMóvil has become effective, and the purchase of Vodafone by Zegona is about to materialize. So the operators have begun to make significant discounts to adapt.
We have been talking about irresistible rates for several weeks, but each new thing we learn about seems to surpass the previous one. Operators like Digi, Lemmon or Xenet had already presented their new ultra-cheap rates, and now PTV Telecom joins in with a powerful renewal of its rates.
Three mobile rates, two irresistible
PTV Telecom has simplified its offering and could be setting a new trend from now on. Basically, the OMV has two rates with unlimited minutes, one with 30 GB for 7.95 euros and another with 300 GB for 13 euros a month.
Plenty of gigabytes for the majority of users in the market and at prices for which the low-cost competition offers a third of the gigabytes.
PTV Telecom offers its mobile phone service with Orange coverage and, for now, does not offer 5G or VoLTE. If the contracted data is exhausted, the speed is reduced to 16 Kbps, but the excess is not charged.
The OMV completes its offer with a rate with unlimited mobile databut its price of 30.95 euros per month does not make it as attractive as alternatives from 20 euros per month.
Fiber at 1, 2 or 5 Gbps
PTV Telecom has said goodbye to 300 and 600 Mbps connections. Its new rates fiber is now only offered at gigabit speedspecifically at 1, 2 or 5 Gbps in those towns where it provides service with its own fiber.
Unfortunately, PTV Telecom is a local operator, and only offers its fiber in some areas of Córdoba, Málaga, Seville, Écija, Valencia and Madrid.
The price for fiber 1,000 Mbps is 19.95 euros, 2,000 Mbps cost 24.95 euros and the maximum of 5,000 Mbps can be contracted for 29.95 euros per month. In all cases, without a landline and without permanence.
