Vodafone confirms another 170 municipalities that will have the best 5G this year

Expansion plans for the Vodafone 5G they run their course. Just a few days ago, the red operator already announced its idea of ​​bringing its 5G coverage to at least 65% of the national population by 2023. Now, for example, we already know what the 170 municipalities Spaniards who will have the operator’s best fifth generation network for this year.

In this way, it would be possible to advance the operator’s idea of ​​reaching 2,000 new municipalities with its 5G coverage. And it is that, soon, more than 6 million inhabitants of these 170 municipalities will be able to connect to Vodafone’s 5G network in the 700MHz frequency.

On this occasion, the 170 municipalities in which the best Vodafone 5G will arrive belong to the community of Andalusia. In fact, we already have the list of the new municipalities that will begin to enjoy the main advantages of having a fifth generation mobile network of this caliber this year:

  • Almeria Province: Fines, Láujar de Andarax and Pulpí.
  • In the Cadiz province: Alcalá de Gazules, Bornos and Ubrique.
  • In the province of Cordoba: Lucena, Montilla, Moriles, Palma del Río, Priego de Córdoba and Villa del Río.
  • In the Grenada province: Albolote, Armilla, Chauchina, Diezma, Jerez del Marquesado, Macarena, Padul, Peligros, Pinos Puente, Villa de Otura, Villamena and Zújar.
  • Huelva Province: Aljaraque, Almonaster la Real, Bollullos Par del Condado, Minas de Riotinto, Palos de la Frontera and San Juan del Puerto.

In this way, as we mentioned at the beginning, the red operator continues with its plans to deploy your 5G network during this year with the aim of reaching 65% of the Spanish population with the 700 MHz frequency and also expanding its reach to the 3700 MHz frequency. In addition, it must be remembered that Vodafone also acquired a total of 400 MHz of spectrum in the 26 GHz band, so that, in the future, it will also begin to deploy it in the national territory.
