Unicaja Banco obtained a net profit of 285 million euros in the first nine months of the year, which represents an improvement of 4.9%, since a year ago, the result stood at 272 million euros, as reported the bank in a statement sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
The total income of the bank based in Malaga stood at 1,333 million euros, which implies an increase of 5.9% year-on-year, while the interest margin reached 973 million euros, 25.4% more. These figures continue to reflect the positive impulse in interest rates by the European Central Bank (ECB).
