The new edition of real estate SIMA is here. This is the twenty-fourth version of the event that returns from May 24 to 27 in the Ifema halls to publicize the latest trends in the sector and expose one of the main issues of recent days: the Housing Law. The real estate show will have a wide range of housing that will exceed 15,000 properties, of which approximately 50% will be in Madrid.
The rest of the apartments will be located in destinations on the coast, such as Malaga or Alicante. and to a lesser extent in inland provinces and in other countries, as calculated by the general director of Planner Exhibitions, the organizing company of the Salon, Eloy Bohúa. This event will have about 300 exhibitors and collaborators from more than 20 countries. The SIMA will be for a few days the largest real estate showcase in Spain in a context marked by the recent Housing Law, as well as the announcements made in this matter by the Government at the gates of the next elections on May 28.
The most numerous profile is that of the buyer who is looking for his habitual residence, with an increasing prominence of the replacement buyer or the one who wants to go from renting to owning, although there is an increase in those interested in second homes and in real estate as an investment, says Bohúa in a statement.
In fact, one of the main novelties of this edition is the Real Estate Investor Show (May 24-27), a space aimed at savers and small non-professional investors who choose real estate to invest part of their savings or their assets. This space will also have a conference program with a marked informative nature to teach the opportunities and also the risks of investing in the real estate sector, in addition to offering an interesting offer.
The fair, which for the first time will be held from Wednesday to Saturday, also includes the professional events SIMAPRO and PROPTECH EXPO, which will be held from May 24 to 26. Some of the companies with prominent participation in SIMAPRO are ST Sociedad de Tasación, Acciona Inmobiliaria, Aedas Homes, Finaer, Smart, Bilba, Colliers, Diglo, El Buen Inquilino, Kronos Homes, Ores & Bryan, Sonae Sierra, Stronhold, Suba, Tinsa and Valdecarros Madrid.
Thus, SIMAPRO will have 35 sessions and the participation of about 150 speakers who will analyze the main current issues and trends in the sector, while PROPECH EXPO will bring together about 70 companies that will show their technological solutions and services applied to the sector.
In addition, SIMA premieres in this edition SIMA TALENT, a meeting that will take place on May 26 aimed at university students, especially those who are in their last year of degree, so that they know what the sector is like, what type of companies make it up and what Job profiles are being demanded.
