The second day of tractor drives has begun with intensity. Today, Wednesday morning, hundreds of farmers began slow marches with their tractors along the AP-7 highway from Girona and Tarragona and along the A-2 highway, from the city of Lleida. Their goal is to reach Barcelona, where they hope to arrive at noon.
The agricultural march is causing numerous traffic delays along its path that reach 18 kilometers, in the case of the A-2, in the section between Bruc and Jorba, and intense traffic in a 19-kilometer section, in the AP . -7, between Sant Celoni and Fogars de la Selva.
There have also been delays of about 3.5 kilometers on the AP-7, in La Jonquera (Girona), due to a traffic cut on that road that is causing detours through exit 1, and delays of about 14 kilometers on the N- II, between Celrà and Bàscara.
Although the AP-7 is no longer closed in L’Aldea, there is only one lane affected in Sant Julià de Ramis (Girona) and the reopening of the A-2 in Bell-lloc d’Urgell is being prepared, the tractor unit is also generating traffic congestion of up to 4 kilometers on the C-16, between Castellbell i el Vilar and Sant Vicenç de Castellet, and three kilometers on the C-17, between Malla and Vic (Barcelona).

The farmers from the regions of Tarragona have started from various points, such as Vila-rodona, and the various columns formed will join together after passing through the AP-2 and AP-7, with the expectation of reaching Avenida Diagonal de la Catalan capital around noon.
Half a century of tractors have also left from Gurb (Barcelona), at the intersection of the C-17 and C-25 roads, hoping to join other columns that have left the Vallès and Bages regions. All these marches are complicating circulation on the main roads of Catalonia and will collapse traffic in the metropolitan area when it approaches Barcelona.
The A-42 is cut off near Illescas (Toledo)
On the other hand, the farmers who continue to mobilize this Wednesday in Castilla-La Mancha have cut the A-42 towards Toledo near Illescas since early in the morning. Specifically, the protesters have cut off the two lanes at kilometer 38 of this road towards Toledo, something that the General Directorate of Traffic has notified at 7:52 in the morning this Wednesday.
In Castilla la Mancha, several roads remain closed due to agricultural mobilizations.
