Ouigo reduces the price of its train tickets from 9 to 25 euros: deadlines and requirements

Ouigo is betting on a new promotion in which it reduces the price of 80% of its tickets to prices ranging from 9 euros to 25 on lines that operate in Spain: Madrid-Zaragoza-Tarragona-Barcelona, Madrid- Valencia and Madrid-Albacete-Alicante.

The promotion is part of its so-called ‘Pink Days’ and will be available from 9:00 a.m. on January 16 to 11:59 p.m. on January 17 on its website and on its app, for travel between January 17 and 10 March.

Specifically, the rates that will be available will be 15 and 25 euros on the Madrid-Barcelona line, and 9, 15 and 19 euros on the Madrid-Valencia and Madrid-Albacete-Alicante lines.

Ouigo already usually offers a general rate starting at 9 euros – a flat rate of 5 euros for children between 4 and 13 years old and free up to 3 years old as long as they travel in the arms of an adult – although it launches several offers during the year, within their ‘Pink Days’.

For next year, it plans to reach Valladolid, Segovia, Murcia and Elche in the first semester, and Córdoba, Seville and Málaga in the second semester. For its part, the link from Madrid to Valladolid and Segovia is still pending the economic balance test carried out by the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC).
