Digi has been growing a lot in our country in recent years and this is also being reflected in the increase in the number of own stores that are spread throughout Spain. Now it welcomes one that will inaugurate the physical presence of the Romanian operator in a province.
Specifically, Digi opens a new store in Vitoria, which is the first in the province of Álava and the second in the Basque Country after the opening in Bilbao.
Sixth Digi store in Spain
Digi’s expansion in terms of stores continues little by little. The Romanian operator has followed a business tactic in recent years supported mainly by points of sale in third-party stores or counters in shopping centers.
Now as the years go by wants to have his own stores in which to market their services and low-cost rates. The one in Vitoria is the sixth to open in Spain, after those in Valencia, Bilbao, Barcelona, Málaga and A Coruña, the last five inaugurated in 2023.
This first store launched in 2024 is located in the number 1 Postas Street, in Vitoria. According to Digi in its statement, it is a strategic place and not only because they are sponsors of Alavés, but they have already managed to increase the number of fiber customers in Vitoria by 257% in 2023. At the moment it had 46 points of sale throughout the province, but this is its first official store. With this opening and the three employees hired, the operator now has more than 7,500 employees and more than 4,000 points of sale in Spain.
“We opened this store with the objective of being able to be closer to our clients in Vitoria, where we are very present thanks to our fiber network deployment”said Ángel Álvarez, Chief Commercial Officer of Digi España.
Personalized attention
In the new store opened in Vitoria, the hours will be Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. When passing through this open space, those interested in the operator’s products will be able to contract fiber and mobile servicesincluding some of the most interesting rates with their own fiber, such as 500 Mbps Smart Fiber for 15 euros per month or PRO-DIGI with up to 10 Gbps speed for 25 euros per month.
Likewise, current customers will also be able to go to this point of sale to receive advice on which one best suits their needs and resolve any doubt or query they have about their services.
Digi is consolidating in our country after 15 years of history in our borders and will become the fourth operator when the Orange-MásMóvil merger comes to fruition. Now it has more than 6.1 million customers and has invested more than 1,000 million euros deploying the fastest fiber network in Spain, reaching more than 8.5 million homes.
