AliExpress, the global online sales market belonging to the Alibaba Group, has started its next-day delivery service in Spain. This novelty has been operational since September and all customers who place their orders for delivery in Madrid can benefit from it. Other cities such as Alicante, Barcelona, Málaga, Murcia, Seville, Valencia and Zaragoza will be able to dispose of their purchases (if they make them before 2 p.m.) within one business day.
The company has explained that the next-day delivery service will apply to “miles of items” for sale on AliExpress, including products from the ‘AliExpress Choice’ program, which are among the platform’s best sellers, and which will be sent free when purchasing in packages of 3 products for 5.99 euros.
Likewise, AliExpress has detailed that it works with local logistics providers such as DHL and Correos to offer next-day delivery service.
Aliexpress improves user experience
The launch of next-day delivery is the latest in a series of user experience improvements that AliExpress has rolled out in recent months.
The company has recorded that among other improvements introduced this year, the launch in Spain of its Choice service stands out in March, which guarantees the delivery of the best-selling products sent directly from China in 9 days.
Likewise, in June, the platform announced a free and local return service for all products purchased on its Spanish website and delivered to addresses in Spain.
Finally, AliExpress has stated that it is committed to continuing to improve the customer experience, understanding how “important logistics and returns are to them.” Thus, Topp has stated that the company will continue to invest in these areas in the coming months.”
